The other guys will build you a house in a few months, these guys will build it over a longer period of time but they will really put the quality and the workmanship into your home. When the time comes to pick your flooring, exterior and interior colours, cabinetry, etc, Discovery will send you to different vendors one area at a time so you don't get overwhelmed. You don't just do everything all in one day and in one place like the other guys.
It was a long process (started in mid 2016!) but we are ultimately very happy with our custom built home which we took possession at the end of 2017/start 2018. Excellent value for all the features we had in this custom house, and we have so many positive comments on our home. Some post-possession items can take a while to finish up (ie. Exterior or fixups) , which is why we gave 4 stars. All in all, a very flexible custom home builder that gives good value...just gotta be patient. Our praise to the customer service we received during our build from Joshua and Sen who worked on our design and met all our expectations through the process. We loved working with the team at Discovery and have spread the word to our friends and family.

Update Discovery Homes and add logo, business hours, images and more. I-joists reduce the number of bulkheads and beams in the lower level ceiling to keep future development flexible. Optional steel beams in the lower level reduce the number of teleposts needed and keep the lower level area open. Three large opening windows to provide abundant natural light and to accommodate drywall deliveries for future lower level development. We researched and talked to all of the builders and sales reps, but the one who made a lasting impression was Stacy Finch from Discovery Homes. He told us the facts about building and was not pushy or demanding. Stacy and Sandra were different, they were sincere in helping us find what fit our needs and were willing to go the distance to draw up the perfect house plans to fit our lifestyle and budget.
My wife and I visited the Discovery Show Home in the new St. Adolphe, Mb. Development and toured the house with Julie, the representative on site. We particularly impressed with the abundance of natural light throughout the living area. You have the ability to customize our floorplans to suit your needs and preferences with the help of one of our sales agents. Be guided through our selection process by our selections coordinator and design consultant. From the beginning of the sales and planning process to the end of the construction when you are living in your home, there is always someone available to talk to you about your investment.
As well, once the foundation is poured and the walls and roof is up, Discovery will give you a set of keys so you can even check on your house after hours to make sure that everything is up to your liking. If you have a concern, just give them a call and they will address it even after the house is built. They are truly a great builder and if you decide to go with them, you will not have any regrets.

Discovery Homes worked very closely with us to customize our home to meet our needs. All of this comes ahead of plans to merge HBO Max and Discovery+ into one unified streaming service in 2023.
